The Demo Portal was created to provide a more hands-on experience than traditional documentation. We understand that long-form technical guides can be tedious, and you shouldn’t have to be an expert just to see how a product works on your site or app. While documentation is helpful, it often can't demonstrate how multiple PayPal products come together to enhance the buyer experience on your site.

The Demo Portal lets you explore how our products work in real-world scenarios. It follows our recommended best practices and shows you how to handle common payment errors. Powered by the sandbox PayPal SDK, the Demo Portal uses the same code you'll work with during development and testing.",

With the Demo Portal, you can explore various PayPal products tailored for your website or app, starting with a sample e-commerce site. Select a product, see how it integrates into the site, and then customize its components to fit your specific needs. It is also optimized for mobile and tablet layouts, allowing you to explore and customize demos from any device.

Each product features a Learn tab with key details and best practices, as well as a Configure tab that lets you personalize components and instantly see how those changes impact the sample site.'

Currently, the Demo Portal saves your customizations in your browser. You can export a JSON file from the site settings menu to share with others, or import a JSON file shared with you to load those customizations.

In future releases, we plan to add features like login, saving customized demos, and the ability to share or invite others to collaborate.'
